Las Esmeraldas

TASTING NOTES: Mandarin | Brown Sugar | Juicy
Washed Typica and Bourbon Varietals

REGION: Huila, Columbia

Our first roast in collaboration with our friends at Murmuration coffee co.

The name "Las Esmeraldas" (emeralds), in Colombia's Huila region, perfectly captures the high-quality coffee produced by their female coffee growers who employ traditional methods, showcasing their passion and hard work.

Despite the challenges they face, they have crafted exceptional coffee for decades. Just like precious emeralds, the coffees from Huila are hidden gems, boasting a delicate and lasting flavour profile.

With notes of yellow fruit, peach, and sugar, complemented by a velvety body, Las Esmeraldas coffee offers a truly special sensory experience that celebrates the skill and dedication of these remarkable female coffee growers.

KEGWA AA - KENYA

TASTING NOTES: Blackcurrant, Honey, Juicy

REGION: Kegwa, Kenya

This juicy and vibrant lot from the Kegwa Factory is packed full of sweetness and fruits.

One of the last to be harvested from this year’s crop and our favourite Kenyan coffee of the year. Its classic Kenyan flavour profile of black and red fruits is also matched with a jammy mouthfeel and honey sweetness.

The distinctive blend of flavours and textures makes this for a refreshing morning cup or an invigorating mid-day pick-me-up. When combined with milk, the blackberry undertones in the espresso transform into a milkshake-like experience.
